Thermarest Neoair Xtherm NXT

The Thermarest NeoAir XTherm NXT is an update of the Thermarest XTherm. It is now warmer, more comfortable and quieter while still being the best choice for lightweight, cold weather alpinists, backpackers and mountaineers.

The Neoair XTherm NXT has an R-Value of 7.3 which is more than that of self inflating mats weighing four times as much. This means that in terms of warmth to weight ratio, nothing comes close and the XTherm NXT is the warmest mat in Thermarest's fast & light range. It features ThermaCapture technology which is a series of baffles made from a reflective fabric providing an almost complete barrier to radiative heat loss, making it suitable for 4 season use. This, combined with a Triangular Core Matrix construction, makes the mat ultra light without being bulky to pack away.

The outer fabrics are soft textured to provide superb next to skin comfort and are now quieter leading to a better night's sleep. The textured fabric also provides greater slip resistance so you and your sleeping bag are less likely to slip off the mattress in the night. The WingLock valve system has a large opening for rapid one way inflation so no air is lost. The WingLock valve also features deflation 'wings' so the mat can be deflated and rolled up easily. The mat comes with a pump sack so it can be inflated easily and without blowing warm damp air from your breath into the mat.
