Full Description
The Platypus Push Pull Cap is just the ticket for converting your Platypus bladder, tank or bottle into a sports bottle. Well, sort of. If you're using a big three litre bladder it's going to be a little unwieldy to run with, however the push pull cap will fit and is great if you hang up a bladder at basecamp then use it to pour off water for cooking/cleaning.

Facewest were extremely helpful for me, answering lots of questions and still helpful even when it became apparent I would be purchasing only a very cheap item. I have used Platypus for a long time now, including on tour with the Army, and found the bladder and tubes to be plenty strong enough and to function reliably. These push-pull caps are no exception from the fantastic Platypus reputation. Providing incredible versatility to an essential bit of kit. Positive action ensures closed means closed and a good enough size to avoid fiddly faffing about. Platypus products owned: 3. 0l bladder, 2. 0l bladder, 1. 0l bladder, 2x hoses/bite valves & 3x push/pull sports caps. All 5*.

This is a great addition to your Platypus bottle. It makes drinking a lot easier and since it is a pull out cap you can't drop it on the ground and loose it while opening your bottle / drinking from it. Recommended!

The Platypus Push-Pull Caps are great! They can easily upgrade basic Platypus bottle into a sport bottle. Works fine. It opens easily and shuts tight but I think it is very easy to ruin the caps when you're in a hurry using teeth to operate with the lid but there is still a benefit - they come in a pair.

Makes the flow stable, but still quite high. Great for washing hands, shower, and of course drinking. I've also tried it on a 50cl sparkling water bottle, it almost fits : no loss of water upside down, except if shaking. Excellent with a platy bottle even if shaking, squeezing, etc. . . Weak point in my opinion : the cap is hard to remove. Probably it will go better later.

I bought this cap to convert a Platypus Hoser that I used to use for mountain biking into a reservoir for gathering water for wild camp use on backpacking trips and to save having to make multiple trips to a stream to get water. It works a charm for this, when not in use (during the day when I just drink filtered water from a drinks bottle) it packs away easily in my rucksack. The push pull cap itself does exactly what I wanted, sealing the bladder when not in use but just pop it open to get water for a brew or to top up a pan. Perfect.

Firstly out off all the platypus caps these are the best in my opinion. I have tried the other the platypus hyperflow cap which I am not fond of as I found that almost all of the ones I have leak whereas the push pull caps are the ultimate in simple design nothing to wrong very cheap. The push pull caps weigh in at 6 grams. But if you are just using the platypus for storing water then I would just use the screw top. All in all a great design very durable considering what it is and it only takes one hand to use
