The Petzl Verso takes the superb holding power and low weight of the Reverso and strips it down to the very basics. At 55g the Verso is one of the lightest belay devices on the market but it doesn't sacrifice performance: its dual friction modes allow it to be used with a huge range of ropes from 7.1mm skinny halves to 10.5mm wall ropes. The Petzl Verso is a brilliant, simple belay device which would be ideal for almost any climbing use.
