It's not rugged surface almost, so it is quite straight forward. Tick. On top of all the basic features that you should ask on a cutting board, the MSR Alpine Deluxe Cutting Board design is smart for camping. The folding option allow you to keep clean different parts of the surface for when you cannot wash it in the moment. So, yes. I am happy with it and I would buy it again.

Good quality piece of kit and the folding design is very useful, both for minimising pack space and assisting in guiding whatever you have been chopping into the pan(just make sure the fold is going in the right direction or you'll end up throwing all your onions on the floor). Though the sizing listed on Facewest is accurate, the reference to it being especially good for small groups is perhaps a touch optimistic. It's unfolded size being 26. 6cm x 18. 9cm is over a cm smaller than a sheet of A4 on all sides and is filled very quickly making it awkward to prepare several items at once. In it's folded state is about the size of a Kindle and easily slips into a rucksack or pannier pocket. Ideally the deluxe chopping board would be a touch larger but the quality and folding design still make it a worthy product.

This is a compact and convenient lightweight and durable chopping board for simple cooking preparation in a nice bright colour. It is robust and easy to wipe clean. I use this board when travelling light, backpacking and camping, to save on space and weight. It's a useful piece of outdoor kit; I especially like the way it folds to half its size for easy storage. The board has no sharp edges which is also a great design feature, plus saving on weight and space. Best to place the board with the MSR logo on the chopping side when it folds out, so that it is more stable.

I like to consider myself a bit of a camping master-chef, and because of this I normally end up doing a lot of prep in the outdoors. I previously used a cut-down regular chopping board, which was not only a bit too small, but around three times the weight of this MSR one. The MSR chopping board is awesome for the price! I love the fact that it folds, and the join does seem very sturdy, which was a worry when purchasing. The surface seems very durable, and I like that fact that it is bright red, because on a number of occasions, I have lost my homemade white chopping board in the snow! I can see this chopping board being very handy, yet another great piece of camp kitchen kit from MSR ! Awesome service as usual from Facewest !

Well built lightweight chopping board. It doesn't take up any room in the rucksack. It weighs next to nothing and does its job well. Very easy to clean. It's thoroughly recommended.
