The La Sportiva AT Grip Spikes are for use with La Sportiva compatible mountain shoes and running shoes.
The AT Grip Spikes provide you with ice piercing grip in winter conditions, keeping you stable and confident as you cross icy terrain.
The pack of 18 studs comes with a specialised key. Simply place the stud into the key, marry the point to the centre of a compatible lug and screw it in. The compatible lugs are grouped in the middle of the forefoot and middle of the heel and are clearly marked.

They fit quite easily into the lugs in the soles of the shoes and give excellent grip on hard frozen surfaces. This allows full speed running during the winter. They are very much for off-road use only and even short distances on snow free tarmac are quite uncomfortable. They stay in the bottoms of the shoes well and seem robust and long lasting. Most importantly unlike longer spikes they do not seem to cut your legs.
