This spring Rab have redesigned their Cirrus Flex range of lightweight insulation for active use. Filled with recycled Primaloft Silver Luxe and featuring a recycled Pertex Quantum outer the Cirrus Flex 2.0 is a serious high performance layer with some respectable environmental credentials.
The Cirrus Flex 2.0 Hoody is the ideal insulation layer for the spring and autumn months. When its often warm enough to climb or hike in a T-Shirt, but you often need something warm for when you get to the top. The Cirrus Flex 2.0 packs down small enough to clip to the back of your harness or fit in a small day pack.
The Cirrus Flex 2 isn’t just a throw on layer, it’s made with very breathable materials and features stretch fleece under arm panels for when you are working hard in colder conditions and want to keep the layer on.
Technical climbing on cold north faces, huddling down on an exposed belay and staying warm on an exposed ridge line. The Cirrus Flex 2.0 is a versatile mid layer / outer layer for the range of conditions that you can often find in the UK in just one day, and at just 422g (M) isn’t going to weight you down at the same time.
