Marker Kingpin Recall

Marker have released a recall for all 2017/18 model Kingpin bindings. The bindings are being recalled because the pin in the toe part can break under rare circumstances. This can result in reduced release/retention and leads to a fall hazard.

Instructions on how to check to see if your bindings are affected are below or on the Marker website - https://www.marker.net/en/support/recall/

Your bindings are affected if they have any of the following graphics on the toe part and if the serial number is within the ranges indicated.

Check the serial number on the heel piece:

Affected numbers are:

Kingpin 10

-> 337804 – 418632

 Kingpin 13

-> 337798 – 411728

If your bindings match both the criteria above then they should be taken to a Marker dealer who will replace the toe pieces for you. If your bindings do not match both the criteria above then they are not affected.
