Our intrepid snow reporter Rosie Pitches reports much improved conditions in the alps. Fresh snow and much colder temperatures have led to excellent on piste conditions while the depth of snow off piste can be very variable and it’s not always as good as it looks. You really need to know where the snow was before the last falls to be certain, but it general the situation is so much better than a week ago.
