Bridgedale Womens Explorer Heavy Merino Comfort

The Bridgedale Women's Explorer Heavyweight Merino Comfort is a heavyweight, women's specific sock ideal for winter use walking, trekking and mountaineering. It is constructed using Bridgedale's Fusion Technology, a combination of high quality yarn wrapped in high performance microfibres to ensure optimum insulation, moisture wicking and durability.

Women's specific Bridgedale socks are slimmer fitting, with a narrower toe box and heel cup. The Explorer socks are boot length and so suited for use with walking and mountaineering boots. As part of the Merino Comfort range they feature Coolmax fabric which makes them softer and better wicking than socks in the Merino Endurance Range, though this comes at a slight cost to durability. They have a high level of warmth and cushioning with the cushioning mapped to the areas which require it as well as mesh panels for ventilation.
