The Black Diamond Half Dome is a completely new helmet. It has been designed to provide the best possible protection from chossy friable limestone right through to technical alpine climbing. These helmets have been built to be durable and perform in the worst of conditions.
The Half Dome has a new head shape inside and outside which contributes to the perfect fit. Inside, moulded EPS foam will protect your head from impacts while the new low profile suspension system cradles your head. The fit is further fine tuned with the one-handed custom wheel adjuster. The wheel adjuster and suspension system tucks away into the helmet for compact storage, especially handy when pack size is limited.
The outer ABS plastic shell is extremely durable and will take knock after knock. The shell has 4 headlamp clips which will secure the strap and will not let you down. The Half Dome has exceptional ventilation that allows air to pass through and expel moisture, contributing to the most comfortable helmet form Black Diamond to date.
