Thermarest Corus 20F

The Thermarest Corus Quilt is a lightweight and space saving alternative to a full sleeping bag. Designed to be paired with a Thermarest sleeping mat this mummy shaped quilt means that you don't have to carry material that would just be squashed under you in a full bag. With a recommended comfort limits of 0 degrees the Corus Quilt is great for 2 - 3 season camping or to provide extra warmth over another sleeping bag in really cold conditions.

The Corus Quilt is made from lightweight 20 denier Polyester with a DWR treatment on the outer. 650FP Duck Down is used for insulation. THis down has been given a Nikwax hydrophobic treatment. This does not mean that the down is waterproof, but it does significantly improve its performance in damp conditions, ie the UK. The down insulation is kept in place with box walled baffles. These offer much more warmth as they eliminate the cold spots that occur in regular stitch through baffles.

The Quilt is held in place with two straps that go under your mat so the bag will not more around. This makes the Corus quilt a great idea for more active sleepers. The foot box can be used above your mat, or you can put your mat inside for a tighter fitting quilt. The down filled side baffles prevent cold drafts when you move around and the neck can be closed up with a popper system to really keep the warmth in.
