Sea To Summit Etherlight XT Extreme

The Sea To Summit Etherlight XT Extreme mat is a very thick 4 season Extreme mat which maintains an impressively low weight given its specs. Sea To Summit have achieved this by combining their innovative loop baffle air cells with a lightweight 30/40D nylon fabric and dual density layers of Thermolite insulation.

The Etherlight XT Extreme is constructed from 30D on the top and 40D on the bottom nylon and TPU fabric. This is lightweight and quiet. It's also slightly grippy to stop you sliding down the mat on those not quite level campsites. The insulation is made up of two layers of Thermolite synthetic insulation. The top Thermolite layer prevents heat loss through conduction.  The Thermolite High Loft bottom layer improves on this while remaining packable. The inside of the mat also has an anti-microbial treatment to stop mould building up.

At 10cm thick the Etherlight XT Extreme is one of the thickest mats available, however starting at just 720g in regular it is a very light contender in the 4 season mat category. The Etherlight XT is a serious do it all mat, from comfortable basecamp and glamping trips when you don't want to sacrifice comfort, to winter bivi missions where every gram counts. A real all round use mat.
