Full Description
The Sea to Summit Ascent sleeping bags are light, warm, comfortable and adaptable 750FP down insulated sleeping bags. They offer the perfect backpacking balance of comfort vs weight, designed with more space than traditional mummy sleeping bag, yet still provide the thermal efficiency you need in colder conditions. The Free-Flow triple-zip design ensures your sleeping bag retains maximum warmth and efficiency when needed and multiple ventilation options when it's not. The half zip on the right side of the bag provides freedom of movement for both arms, additional ventilation and means the top third of the bag can be folded down as a mini quilt. The full length, two-way left side zip and separate foot zip transforms the bag into a full camping quilt for camping in the summer months.
The lightweight 20D recycled nylon outer ensures that the down inside the bag lofts fully. The Ascent uses vertical baffles in the chest area to prevent down being pushed to the sides of the bag. The Down used in the Ascent range is 750+FP responsibly sourced RSD ULTRA-DRY Down treated water repellent down. This protects the down from moisture and ensures a longer lifespan, it down not mean that the Down is waterproof.
The Ascent -9C has an EN comfort rating of -2°C making it an excellent backpacking and car camping bag in 2 to 3 season conditions.
