The Rab Xenair Alpine Light Jacket is a breathable, lightweight synthetic insulated layer for changeable conditions. Constructed with a super light 20 denier Pertex Quantum Air nylon outer which is windproof and has a water resistant coating. The Xenair Alpine Light uses 60gsm Primaloft Gold Active insulation in the front, back and the tops of the sleeves, and lighter 40gsm of the same insulation in the sides, under the arms and in the hood. The Xenair Alpine Light is an ideal wear all day layer in the cooler spring and autumn months.
The Xenair Alpine Light has a regular fit so works equally well as a midlayer or outer depending on the conditions you are facing. The hood is climbing helmet compatible with a semi elasticated opening and single rear adjuster. There are two YKK concealed zip hand pockets, and one YKK zip inside chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack. The sleeves of the jacket are pre shaped to aid freedom of movement when climbing.
