Rab Womens VR Summit Jacket

The Rab Womens VR Summit Jacket is an update to Rab's Vapour Rise range. Designed for high output winter activities from skiing to ice climbing and winter mountaineering the VR Summit jacket provides excellent temperature regulation when working hard. Rab Vapour Rise fabric is a two layer softshell consisting of a Micro-Pile liner and Pertex Quantum Air outer. This combination is designed to provide body temperature equilibrium and wicks moisture away from your body fast to keep you dry. The Micro-Pile inner also provides a degree of warmth, whilst the outer is wind resistant and has a DWR coating. Vapour-Rise is a really versatile system that is able to be worn next-to-skin, on top of a base layer, or as part of a layering system.

The features of the jacket are optimised for mountain use, two YKK zipped handwarmer pockets sit high on the jacket above a harness. A YKK zipped chest pocket provides additional storage for valuables. The helmet compatible hood will go over a helmet, or can be adjusted down for the perfect fit without a helmet, there is also a stiffened peak for a little extra protection. The main YKK Vislon zip is double ended and comes up high to keep your neck protected from cold winds. The cuffs are hook and loop adjustable and there is a hem drawcord so you can get a snug fit to keep out draughts.
