The Rab Latok Paclite Plus Jacket is a GORE-TEX PACLITE Plus waterproof shell jacket for alpinists, mountaineers and those looking for a dependable, packable shell layer.
Made from 13 Denier GORE-TEX PACLITE Plus 2.5 layer with a hydrostatic head of 28,000mm/RET. PACLITE Plus offers durable waterproof protection from the elements in a lighter and far more packable package than regular 3L GORE-TEX and GORE-TEX PRO, making the Latok Paclite Plus and excellent choice for those looking for a spring and summer waterproof that won't take up half the room in your pack when not needed.
The helmet compatible 2-way adjustable hood features crown and face adjustment so you can get a perfect snug fit allowing the hood to move with you as you look around. The main zip is weather resistant YKK VISLON zip with lower snap fastener and fleece lined chin guard for comfort. There is one external napoleon pockets for a topo or guide book / maps / haribo that sits high enough above a climbing harness that there's no way they will interfere with panicked gear selection. For extra ventilation when you are really pushing it there are YKK Aquaguard pit zips. The sleeves are articulated for freedom of movement allowing you to raise your hands above your head without the jacket lifting., the large hook and loop adjusted sleeve hems ensure that you can get the jacket on over gloves without having to take them off, this is further aided by the large zipper toggles to aid use by gloved hands.
