Full Description
The Rab Ascendor AS Pants are durable and protective mid weight softshell pants for winter walking and mountaineering. A combination of durable Matrix double weave fabric is used for its high degree of stretch for unrestricted freedom of movement, and its wind resistance offering protection in demanding mountain environments. The Matrix double weave fabric has a soft brushed back for comfort against the skin and for warmth.
The part elasticated waistband is double snap fastened with belt and brace attachments allowing you to add extra support should it be needed. The ankle kick patches are reinforced to help combat wear against rock and crampon use. For stashing topos and snacks and there are two zipped hand warmer pockets, a single zipped rear pocket and one zipped thigh pocket. The expanding zipped lower legs accommodate larger boots or can be closed to create a tight seal.
