Rab Ascendor 35 40

The Rab Ascendor 35:40 is a durable pack for all Mountain activities. Rab have combined features from Ski Mountaineering, Ice climbing, Alpinism and Climbing packs into one streamlined package.

Constructed from bombproof 210 denier Ripstop Nylon with a water resistant coating with 420 denier nylon reinforced areas, allowing your to ski or climb on confident that your kit is protected from the elements. The floating top lid of the pack is closed and held in place with a single load locker strap which aids with stability. The lid is removable for lighter days out. In addition to the the top draw cord closure there is a zipped side entry to enable rapid access to kit without the need for excessive side pockets or straps.

The Ascendor 35:40 features Rab's Tri-Flex carry system. This lightweight yet supportive system is adaptable to a variety loads. The internal supports is provided by a spring steel frame and HDPE sheet, and the dual density foam padded hip belt means weight can be transferred comfortably to your hips and the moulded back panel is flexible and sheds snow. The internal frame and padded hip fins can be removed if you have a fast and light adventure in mind and want to keep the pack weight and bulk down.

The streamlined design of the Ascendor pack still features all everything you will need, whatever your activity. The side compressions straps allow you to cinch the pack down when carrying smaller loads and can be used to carry ski or trekking poles. There are reinforced ski carry straps to allow you to carry skis in an A-frame configuration. The two Head lockers and covered pick pocket allow you to carry a pair of Ice axes on the outside of the pack.
