Patagonia Micro Puff Hoody

The Patagonia Micro Puff Hoody is Patagonia's lightest synthetic jacket providing a true down-like feel and loft yet it will still retain its warmth even when wet. This makes it ideal for alpine / winter climbing, ski / snowboard touring, adventure racing and bivving.

Constructed from a super light and windproof Nylon ripstop Pertex Quantum outer / liner which benefits from a DWR finish to repel moisture and spin drift. Inbetween the outer and liner the PlumaFill synthetic insulation traps heat in just like down thanks to it being a core fibre with fluffy micro filaments spiraled around it. The unique stitching pattern of the jacket keeps this insulation in-situ preventing it from shifting or clumping and eliminating cold spots.

The Micro Puff Hoody is incredibly compressible and provides an amazing warmth to weight ratio along with easy garment care and resilience so that it retains its loft throughout a lifetime of wearing and washing. There are two welted external zipped hand pockets, two internal drop in pockets and the left pocket doubles as a stuff sack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop so it can be easily attached to your harness or pack. The elastic bound under helmet hood is light and simple and the hem and cuffs are also elastic bound and all this assists with retaining the warmth inside and the jackets compressibility.
