Norrona Trollveggen Thermo100 Rescue Hood

The Norrona Trollveggen Thermo100 Rescue Hood is a very warm synthetic insulation jacket for mountaineering. Developed in collaboration with the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Group (NARG) it's packed with features and functionality critical for mountain rescues and other professional mountain operations. Built for warmth and performance, this jacket boasts exceptional warmth-to-weight thanks to strategically placed Thermo insulation. With varying insulation weights across different body zones (40 g/m2 on outer arms, 60 g/m2 on chest, 80 g/m2 on hood and inner sleeves, 100 g/m2 on back and lower torso), it ensures optimal warmth retention without hindering movement. Even when wet or compressed, the Thermo insulation keeps you warm.

The 100% recycled woven nylon 30D face fabric is incredibly light and windproof, offering excellent durability for rugged mountain environments. It's treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish for added protection from light rain or snow. The helmet compatible Storm Hood has one-hand adjustments for easy manipulation even with gloves on. The two-way front zipper allows for easy layering and access while wearing a harness. There are two large Napoleon chest pockets and two hand warming pockets, upper arm pocket on each side, plus an internal mesh pocket for radios and an earpiece opening.
