Full Description
The Mountain Equipment Pinnacle Mitt is a fully waterproof, insulated mitt for mountain use in cold, damp conditions. Constructed from a durable EXOLITE 210 stretch double weave softshell outer featuring a DRILITE waterproof breathable membrane insert. On the palm and the back of the hand is a reinforced Goatskin overlay for durability when handling ropes or poles. The Pinnacle mitt is insulated with two layers of 170g Primaloft Gold synthetic insulation at the back of the hand. The palm has a fibre pile lining which insulates against cold surfaces and does not compress under pressure.
The mitts feature an easy pull to open/pull to close gauntlet with single handed drawcord closure. The Mountain fit pre-curved thumb aids rope or tool grip and there is a carabiner carry loop for clipping the mitts to the back of your harness on a more technical climb.
