The Mountain Equipment Kinesis Jacket is a super fast drying windproof mid / outer layer. The two layer construction offers excellent temperature regulation and moisture management. The outer HeliumAP fabric is windproof, highly breathable with mechanical stretch for unrestricted movement. The Octayarn Warp-Knit lining provides warmth and moves moisture away from your body very rapidly. This combination provides excellent temperature regulation whether skinning up hill or the well earned descent after.
The Kinesis Jacket features a helmet compatible Mountain HC hood and is patterned with an active fit and pre-shaped sleeves, making it an excellent climbing layer. The main YKK zip is two way, which extends the jackets range of use to a warmer weather belay jacket. There are two zipped hand pockets which sit high out of the way of a harness, and one napoleon chest pocket for valuables. The hook and loop adjustable cuffs and hem drawcord allow you to seal out cold draughts. The Kinesis jacket packs up into a hand pocket which has twin carabiner loops for easy carrying on the back of a harness.
