The Mountain Equipment Citadel Mitt is a durable, weatherproof 2-part mitt designed for cold-weather climbing and mountaineering, thanks to its top-of-the-line fabrics and synthetic insulation fill.
The outer mitt is a rugged and durably weather resistant 20 denier DRILITE Loft. This, coupled with its extended gauntlet design affords greater durability and increased protection, both from wind and moisture. Under the DRILITE Loft outer is 3 layers of 100% recycled PrimaLoft Gold insulation with 100% recycled PrimaLoft Gold Grip insulation in the palm. A Water resistant Goatskin leather palm is durable and helps grip an ice axe. The Citadel Mitt's inner mitt is made from DRILITE Loft 20D and EXOLITE 210 softshell fabric with leather palm insert, single finger and fibre pile lining making it warm and fast drying.
