Full Description
The Mammut Smart HMS 2 is a brilliant twist gate carabiner for the safety conscious. The twistlock gate is spring loaded for complete security; if the gate is closed then the twistlock is in the locked position. Add to this the safety gate which, when closed, ensures that the twistlock cannot be opened, this means that once the gate is closed the Crag Smart HMS cannot be accidentally opened. The gate also stops the carabiner from being cross-loaded over the weaker axis.
The Smart HMS 2 has a great shape for belaying and abseiling with a wide, gently curved top for smooth running of the rope making it perfect for the wall and sport climbing.
