Al is an IFMGA Mountain Guide and co-director of the guiding company Alpine Guides. He has over 30 years experience in mountaineering and endurance sports and spends the winter months specialising in ski touring. Having been a design, testing and brand ambassador for both Rab and Arcteryx over the years, he knows a thing or two about outdoor gear!
