This lightweight roll-up pouch made from sturdy yet flexible fabric is a great and inexpensive accessory which helps protect your screws and keeps them away from ripping other stuff in your bag. With the caps on, screws slide right into otherwise pretty tough getting screws in because the screw points catch while putting it in. At the end just roll up the pouch which closes securely with an easy to use buckle and you're done. Great stuff. Highly recommendable.

I've used my Ice Screw Up to keep my ice screws out of harms way on walk-ins, gondolas and also for general storage. I haven't had any issues with cuts but I do try to keep the caps on the ends of my (petzl laser speed) screws when possible - i. e. when packing to go there or go home.

I bought this roll up case to carry black diamond express ice screws but expect that it would work equally well with other ice screws. It has a pretty straightforward design and holds six ice screws. They fit in very easily with the protective screw cover in place. The screw handle is not covered. There is also a mesh zip pocket that can carry the screw covers or a couple of carabiners. The case is bright orange and easy to see. Not only does it protect the screws and keep them together but it also protects everything else in my bag or backpack.
