Black Diamond GlideLite Mix

Black Diamond Glidelite Mix are climbing skins engineered for long approaches and extended ski tours where both packability and traction are paramount, the Black Diamond GlideLite Mohair Mix Skins are now updated and available with fixed lengths and pre-installed and redesigned tip and tail attachments.

The skins are a mohair (65%) and nylon (35%) mix to offer an excellent compromise between grip, glide and durability in all conditions. This is the 2020 version which is lighter and more packable than the previous incarnation, with a redesigned tip loop.

The Glidelite skins have already been cut to length and the tip attachment attached. These Glidelite Mix skins only come in one width, 133mm. All you have to do is select the correct length for your skis and on receipt trim the width of the skin.

These skins use Black Diamond's STS attachment system. The tip loop is adjustable to get a good fit on just about any ski, the STS tail attachment gives 11cms of length adjustment and is quick and easy to use. There is plenty of overlap between lengths for great coverage.

Please note. Feedback from users suggests if the length of your skis is close to the upper limit you should opt for the next size up.
