The Arcteryx Womens Atom Lightweight Hoody is a lightweight and lightly insulated jacket, which blurs the line between an insulated jacket and a windshirt. This is a versatile jacket, ideal for a variety of applications for the active user.
The outer fabric is light and soft Tyono with a DWR treatment, which provides water repellency and wind resistance. The core insulation in the jacket is Coreloft Compact, which has undergone a special process to reduce the bulk of the yarns, without reducing the insulation value. This gives a lightweight and breathable insulation, that is still thermally efficient.
The side panels in the body are Stretch fleece that contour to the body and give excellent ventilation, which is ideal when your working hard. The sleeves are mesh lined and are uninsulated. A fully adjustable low profile and uninsulated Stowable StormHood provides protection from the elements. The No Slip Zip is an Arcteryx feature which works like a series of speed bumps down the zip, so the zip doesn't slip from the position you put it in, even when not fully zipped up. Also there are two zipped hand pockets and an adjustable hem to keep it in place.
