New Inov8 Gear for 2017

We’ve got some shiny new Inov8 products this year, here’s some info on the new arrivals:

Roclite 305 and Roclite 290

Roclite 305

The Roclites have been completely redesigned from the sole to the upper and the lacing system. The new outsole features Inov8’s own Tri-C rubber compound for increased friction while the multi-directional claw shaped cleats, with a wide contact area, give excellent and consistent grip over unpredictable and changeable terrain. The new midsole absorbs more shock and a much increased energy return than before making the new Roclites a pleasure to run in.

The fit has also been redesigned and they now have an ‘Adapterweb’ cradle which is designed to move with the natural swelling of your foot as you run, providing excellent support.

The 305 features an X-Lock system to hold the heel in place and provide support in that area. It has an 8mm drop and is the ideal off road shoe for those looking to go minimalist without sacrificing comfort and support.

Roclite 290

The 290 is the lightweight version of the 305 and features the Y-Lock system for heel support, this is lighter and less supportive that the X-Lock system found on the 305 but will certainly appeal to the minimalist approach. With a 4mm drop the 290 is a flexible and responsive shoe which still gives protection, support and comfort for minimalist runners.
