We now have stock of the new Thermarest LuxuryLite cots. Not due out till Spring 13, Thermarest have been kind enough to let us have a few early. There are 2 version the Lite and Ultralite.
We have also made this short video (4′ 45″) about them including a full assembly. Skip forward to 2′ 30″ to see just the assembly played at 5x normal speed.
There is one weakness in the design that can damage your cot cosmetically when taking it apart. Watch this video to help avoid it.
The LuxuryLite cots are as the name suggests a bit of a luxury product for warm weather use. What they look set to do is get all those people who quite want to go camping but refuse to sleep on a sleeping mat, back out there doing stuff.
