Information from Snow-Forecast.com confirms this plus adds that Scandinavia and Canada are faring the same. Hopefully the cold air and snow will push further west in the near future. The Snow-Forecast.com summary says that the global weather patterns that are the engine of snowfall are running opposite to last year and the chances of a repeat of last season very unlikely. The places to avoid at the moment are California and the southern rockies.

Great news to erase the disappointment of last year.
