Full Description

The Rab Zero G Jacket is a slim fitting superlight down jacket filled with 1000 FP Down providing the very best in warmth to weight. Both the inner and the outer fabric are an ultra thin Pertex Quantum GL which keeps this jacket incredibly light and packable. The outer benefits from being treated with a DWR coating to repel light rain and moisture. The Zero G is fully insulated throughout with European Goose Down.

The hood features a protective flexible peak and is also down filled. The durable YKK Vislon front zip has an insulated zip baffle, which helps to retain your core heat. A semi elasticated hem can be drawn in to stop draughts from below and the elasticated stretch woven cuffs will prevent cold air from entering the sleeves. There are two YKK low volume hand warmer pockets to keep close to hand items in and it also comes with a Quantum GL stuff sack for ultralight packing and protective transportation.

This jacket is the ultimate in lightweight insulation, though this does come at the cost of durability - if you're looking for a do it all or wear around town down jacket this isn't an ideal choice. If you want a seriously lightweight bit of kit for expeditions and adventures then this could be the best jacket you've ever owned.

Very light, very warm, very packable. Bought for bikepacking and as backup layer for hill walking. Ticks all boxes so far. Fairly delicate, not a piece for walking about town.

I normally wear a large in most brands and most clothes but had to size up to XL to get a normal fit. When they say slim fit they really mean it!! I use this as a static layer for winter wild camping and this really cuts the wind out and is super warm. I work with commercial walk in freezers that operate between -18c to -21c. And if I layer a light weight insulated peice like an arcteryx nuclei FL under the rab zero g I can stand still For typical UK winter weather I wear it from 5c to -8c with just a base layer underneath but I do run on the warmer side of average

when the delivery man brought the jacket in a box it felt like the box was empty it was so light. I said it contains a large Rab jacket. Oh he said he also had a Rab jacket. I am wearing my first Rab 'Activa' bought around 30 years ago, I so love it. been looking for another same ever since. bought the 'Andes' as it looked similar, although warm its rather bulky @ 1Kg. This Zero so light and warm, not the warmest but for the weight its a feat of design/construction. the ripstop outer of my Activa has proved very tough and although thinner I expect this Zero to be most durable. the armpits are cut high, I expect to allow climbing , the back is long , for its intended use. the filling is so light and outer so soft I thought it wouldn't be warm, but it is. I will take great care of it. I wear my Rab jackets also indoors to save on energy costs, so really EON have paid for this,. . On facewest, I am a very cautious shopper and trusted them as they were listed on Rab's website . all good , thank you.
