MSR Hydration Kit

You bought a 2 litres MSR Dromedary bag? Or may be the 10 litres one? This Hydration Kit is the perfect complement. Between your dromedary bag and your hydration kit you will have the ultimate hydration system. Bombproof, really resistant and always on working order. If you have an in line water filter you can cut the tube of the MSR Hydration Kit and get directly in your mouth the stream of filtered water. You can use the MSR Hydration Kit as well with the MSR Dromlite, but I have just Dromedary bags. Enjoy your MSR system, it should work for years.

Well, I bought the water bladder of the same brand, so it seems the logical thing to do by me to buy the Hydratation Kit for being able to drink while on the bike. I think it would be even possible to use it for taking a shower when free camping, even when there is a product for that from MSR. . . this kit should do the trick. I like that it is transparent, I can see the water going up and down, that is a good thing but not a deal breaker to be fair. Even when I am happy with this product I should say that the price tag is a bit high for a tube. Anyways, the quality and construction of this thing is apparently good and I hope it keep working for years to come without getting any disgusting plastic taste.

I bought this to go with the MSR Dromedary Bag. I've only used it only so far and in warm, sunny weather but it performed as it should. The shut-off valve just before the mouthpiece is a great idea as my old Platypus used to drip and soak my shirt. The only potential snag is that it may be difficult to fit an insulating sleeve over the pipe for sub zero use and the valve itself may freeze up.
