About Mountain Tracks
Mountain Tracks is a team of dedicated professionals specialising in guided mountain adventure. Our full-time Mountain Guides - Nick, Matt and Olly - all hold the prestigious IFMGA Mountain Guides qualification and are members of the British Mountain Guides Association. Recognised internationally, the IFMGA qualification is a highly prized badge and denotes the highest level of professional experience, knowledge and skill in mountaineering, climbing and skiing.
Our brilliant BASI 4 ISTD ski instructors include Dave Meyer, Annie Donovan, Bryan Hogg and Will Evans, who are all experts in off-piste instruction. All the additional IFMGA guides with whom we work are vetted personally and thus complement our professional approach to adventure in the mountains. At the office Chris and Susie are the rigging that holds the Mountain Tracks ship together: without their exemplary customer service and organisational skills our ship would be lost at sea!
Our team all share a passion for the mountains, a determination to share this passion with others and a commitment to deliver outstanding mountain experiences and to help each individual achieve their personal goals. We offer a wide range of both summer and winter courses in the European Alps and further afield. The Mountain Tracks website and Facebook page is a mine of useful 'blog' articles. We keep people up to date on the current ski and mountain conditions through this. Mountain Tracks plays an active role in providing articles and reviews for Facewest and staff training, so their equipment advice is second to none!
In the winter we have a variety of Off-Piste courses from our instructionally focused Off-Piste Performance weeks to our Off-Piste Adventure trips. Mountain Tracks Ski Touring courses come in many shapes and sizes. From week-long Hut-to-Hut tours, Day Touring to instructional based Ski Touring Skills weekends - we have everything covered!
In summer our Mountaineering, Climbing and Glacier Treks are very popular. Whether being instructed in the basics of mountaineering on our Alpine Introduction or climbing Mont Blanc courses, we have trips and experiences to suit all tastes and abilities.
If you can't find a course or date that suits your needs we facilitate many tailor made trips with itineraries and dates to suit both individuals and groups. For that special one-off trip do get in touch and we'll work with you to develop a custom itinerary!
