What can you say about glue. . . well it definitely does the job, my skins now stick better than they did with the original adhesive backing. The glue goes a long way as well so even after redoing a set of skins I have only used about 20% of the tube, so the tube should last a few seasons (depending on amount of use of skins). The tube is also of a small enough size that I would take it in my pack for a tour of more than one day.

Bought the Black Diamond Gold Label Skin Glue simply to improve the skins' glue where it was starting to lose its grip in places. But I ended up doing a complete re-glue as using a hot air gun (as per the clear instructions on the tube) made it so straightforward to remove the old glue ââ "šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ together with the accumulated grass, heather & grit - with a scraper. Ample glue in the tube for several such ââ "šÂ¬Ã… "œreglueingsââ "šÂ¬, and it certainly is sticky enough, and has no tendency to leave anything on the ski soles. It does the job well, and pinning the skins to a board made the process stress-free, so I see no need to go for the much more expensive option of the BD Glue Renew Transfer Roll.

Used this glue to re glue my G3 skins. Removed the very old, contaminated glue using heat gun and car ice scraper. Used a jug of hot water to warm the glue applied it to the clean skin and spread using a clean plastic spreader. Went on fine, seems sticky not had a chance to field test the results. Seems quite expensive, but you could probably get two sets of skins from one tube (120x168mm).

I had some gaps after applying a sheet based glue which left some gaps (my error) I used this to fill in. In truth this was easier to apply than the the sheet method, and great for the gaps, so I would adopt it for my next full refresh!

Perfect volume for a pair of skins and easy to apply. Sticky, but not too sticky that you require cheat sheets, simply store skin to skin

Straight forward to apply - old credit type card is best because flexibility gives a smooth finish
